What is the deadline for applications?

There is no deadline for applications, areas will be rented out according to availability.

Is there a minimum stand size?

Yes, 12 m².

What is included in the exhibition fee?

  • Provision of the exhibition area for exhibition purposes
  • Printed programme and posters (DIN A2) in appropriate numbers
  • Digital ACHEMA logo indicating hall and stand number for download
  • Social media kit to simplify the promotion of event participation
  • 1 copy of the ACHEMA 2024 catalogue

When will I receive the stand offer?

After receipt of the first rental instalment offers will be sent to exhibitors step by step, depending on date of receipt, past participation at ACHEMA as well as on the technical requirements of the exhibition.

When will I receive the stand confirmation?

After stand allocation and payment of the first instalment.

Can I choose a stand?

Every exhibitor receives an offer with a stand proposal. Stand requests should be submitted with the stand application.

Can I cancel free of charge?

Yes, up to 31 January 2023.

In the event of cancellation between 01 February 2023 and 31 August 2023, the 1st instalment of the agreed fees will be charged as compensation. In the event of cancellation between 01 September 2023 and 10 March 2024, 50% of the agreed fees will be charged as compensation. In the event of cancellation from 11 March 2024, 100% of the agreed fees will be charged as compensation.

In case of withdrawal of registered co-exhibitors, after sending the invoice for the participation fee for co-exhibitors, this fee will be forfeited.

How are the rental instalments (RI) charged? When are they due?

1st RI = € 92.00 per m² ordered, due directly after applying
2nd RI = 65 % of the balance of the total exhibition fee, due by 15 September 2023 at the earliest
3rd RI = 35 % of the balance of the total exhibition fee, due by 15 February 2024 at the earliest

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, by MasterCard, VISA, AMEX and Diners.

Co-Exhibitors

How can I register a co-exhibitor?

Co-exhibitors can be registered here.

What is the fee for co-exhibitors?

€ 1,060.00 plus the visitor flat-rate of € 90.00 and the media package tariff of € 320.00. In the case of a cancellation, the co-exhibitor fee is forfeited.

How many free exhibitor tickets does a co-exhibitor receive?

Two exhibitor tickets.

We intend to exhibit with our subsidiaries. Do they have to be registered as co-exhibitors?

Yes, subsidiaries have to be registered as co-exhibitors. This also ensures that their company names, contact details and products will also be listed in the official ACHEMA publications.

Can co-exhibitors also publish entries?

Yes, co-exhibitors can publish entries in the ACHEMA publications on the same terms as exhibitors.

What is the best way to find your way around the exhibition grounds? Is there a thematical structure?

The hall allocation follows the thematical structure of the exhibition groups of ACHEMA 2024. For your orientation you will find the hall plan with the exhibition groups here.

Entry Requirements

Do ACHEMA participants need a visa?

Citizens from countries requiring a visa to travel to Germany to visit ACHEMA or exhibit at ACHEMA require a business travel visa. We can support you with a personalized visa invitation letter.

How to get there?

By car:

Via Autobahn A5 change to A648 at interjunction Frankfurt Westkreuz. There is direct access from the Autobahn exit Frankfurt West (i.e. no "green badge" required) to the Rebstock multi-storey car park.
Access from the city center via Theodor-Heuss-Allee to Katharinen-Kreisel (N.B. "green badge" required).
There is a free shuttle bus from the Rebstock area to the exhibition grounds (probably to the entrances Galleria, Portalhaus Hall 11 and Hall 3) every 5 - 10 minutes.

 

By train:

From the central station to the exhibition grounds by S-Bahn (departure from central station, tief, platform 104, stop "Messe Frankfurt" station).

Where and how can I order parking spaces for ACHEMA 2024?

Please order your parking spaces in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal.

Are parking spaces for exhibitors subject to a charge?

Yes, exhibitor parking spaces are subject to a fee. You will see the exact prices in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal.

Can I select a specific parking space or multi-storey car park when placing my order?

Please choose between parking spaces on the exhibition grounds and parking spaces in the multi-storey car park on the Rebstock area. At the exhibition grounds, the aim is always to allocate parking spaces close to the stand.

How do I get from the Rebstock multi-storey car park to the exhibition grounds?

There is a free shuttle bus from the Rebstock area to the exhibition grounds (probably to the entrances Galleria, Portalhaus Hall 11 and Hall 3) every 5 - 10 minutes.

How many parking spaces can I order?

Order as many parking spaces as you need. When ordering parking spaces, each exhibitor should be allocated at least one parking space on the exhibition grounds. Therefore, it may happen that you are also allocated parking spaces in the multi-storey car park on the Rebstock area.

Are parking tickets also valid for the set-up and dismantling periods?

No, parking tickets are only valid for the duration of ACHEMA 2024, i.e. from 10 June to 14 August 2024.

Can co-exhibitors also order parking spaces?

Yes, co-exhibitors can order parking spaces in the multi-storey car park on the Rebstock area. From there, a free shuttle bus runs to the exhibition grounds every 5 - 10 minutes (probably to the entrances Galleria, Portalhaus Hall 11 and Hall 3).

When and how will the parking tickets be sent out?

Parking tickets will be sent out approx. 4 - 6 weeks before ACHEMA 2024 by e-mail together with the invoice. There is a download link for each parking ticket. The company name is printed on the parking ticket. The parking ticket contains a QR code which will be scanned upon entry.

Exhibitor Tickets

How do I get my exhibitor tickets?

It is very easy to personalize and print out your exhibitor passes in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal. Exhibitor passes entitle the holder to enter the exhibition premises during the assembly and dismantling times and during the exhibition itself. The passes are personalized and not transferable.

How many exhibitor tickets does an exhibitor receive free of charge?

Two tickets for the first 10m², one ticket for each additional 10m² or part thereof. Example: 31m² = five tickets

How many free exhibitor tickets does a co-exhibitor receive?

Two exhibitor tickets.

Is public transport included in the exhibitor pass?

Personalised exhibitor passes can be used from 10 - 14 June 2024  for free transportation to and from Messe Frankfurt on public transport operated by the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) within the entire tariff area (information at www.rmv.de).

Free transportation by public transport within the RMV is only possible for the person whose name is stated on the exhibitor pass in combination with a valid photo ID.

It is essential that exhibitor pass is presented in printed form.

How can we promote our company and brand in the official ACHEMA publications (printed catalogue, ACHEMA App)?

Catalogue ACHEMA 2024

  • Full-page, 4 color advertisements on chapter page or cover page. Placement requests will be processed chronologically  by the date of receipt.
  • Publication of a protected brand name as text or a brand logo incl. explanatory text.

ACHEMA App

  • Logo package: your company logo is published in the exhibitor list, in the exhibitor entry and the hall plan.
  • Prominently placed banner, published on one of the following pages: main menu, exhibitors' directory or events overview. The banner will be linked to your detailed exhibitor entry. The number of available banner placements is limited.
  • An individually designed and exclusive content page which will be linked directly from the app's exhibitor menu. One main page and up to 3 subpages can be filled with content (text and images).
  • Splash Screen - full screen ad: your advertisement or illustration will be displayed when the user of the mobile app accesses one of the main menus. The screen filling advertisement can be visualized e.g. before the display automatically transitions to the list of exhibitors, the events overview of the congress programme or the product index. The display before editorial content is also possible.

All advertising options can be ordered through the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal.

What are the possibilities for Internet advertisements?

Web banners in different sizes and with different positioning options can be placed. Besides your company information, registered trademarks (brand names) will also be shown.
Furthermore, you can attract attention to your stand by publishing your innovations presented at ACHEMA under the "Products" section in ACHEMA online.

Are there any specific branding or sponsoring opportunities to highlight the presence and expertise of my company to a broader audience?

Starting with various options to place advertisements on the ACHEMA website, in the ACHEMA mobile App and in the printed ACHEMA catalogue you can become an Innovation Partner. Can I use the ACHEMA Logo for printed matter?

The logo is available free of charge at Downloads as a jpeg file.

Media Package Tariff

What does the media package tariff cover?

For the media package tariff each exhibitor receives a clearly structured exhibitor entry in the ACHEMA publications. It covers:

  • company name, contact details and a short company profile (German/English, 200 characters each) in the catalogue, ACHEMA online and the ACHEMA App
  • your company logo in the catalogue and ACHEMA online
  • two detailed product information entries in ACHEMA online (500 text characters each in English with 1 illustration each)
  • placement of a hyperlink to your company website.
  • 5 keyword entries in ACHEMA online, the ACHEMA App and the visitor information system on-site.
  • exhibition group in ACHEMA online and the ACHEMA App

The media package will be charged at a package tariff of € 495,- for every exhibitor. The co-exhibitor tariff is € 320,-.

Publications

What are the advantages of the ACHEMA publications?

The ACHEMA 2024 Catalogue, the ACHEMA online website and the ACHEMA App are the official media of ACHEMA 2024. Additionally, information on your company will be available to all visitors at the information terminals on the exhibition grounds. This ensures widespread publicity for your company and targeted contact on the part of interested professionals.

Is there a charge for ACHEMA publications?

Yes, a media package charge of € 495.- is invoiced to all exhibitors for the publication of an entry in the ACHEMA 2024 Catalogue, the app and on the ACHEMA website. For co-exhibitors the media package costs € 320.-.

Research Contribution

What is the research contribution?

Based on the size of the stand area, a voluntary research contribution of € 6.50/m² is requested, which will be transferred after ACHEMA 2024 without any deduction to the Max Buchner Research Foundation that promotes young scientists in fields of work that can be assigned to the exhibitor profile of ACHEMA. The exhibitor will receive a donation receipt for the amount actually donated.

Set-up and Dismantling / Access Regulations

Set-up and dismantling times

Binding is the information in the Technical Guidelines, 1.2. Opening hours as well as in the “traffic regulations” and in the „check-in guide“, which will be provided for download in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal  under Traffic Management, see Shop, Services.

Can I use my own forklift or electric pallet truck?

The employment of exhibitors' own forklifts is prohibited for safety reasons. Forklifts can be ordered from the Logistics Service of Messe Frankfurt (via the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal under Services, Logistics). Electric pallet trucks may be used for transporting goods at ground level both inside and outside the exhibition halls. It is prohibited to use them for loading and unloading for safety reasons.

Check-In

During set-up and dismantling (with the exception of 14 June 2024), all vehicles must be registered via the check-in (online also possible).

Is a permit needed for Sunday work during the set-up and dismantling?

Stand Construction

How high can I build my stand?

The minimum construction height is 2.50 m. The maximum stand construction height varies from hall to hall, but can be max. 8.00 m. Stands with a size up to 30 m² are allowed a max. stand construction height of 4.00 m. If applicable, suspensions can be higher. Please refer to the technical data sheets of the halls for details.

For stand structures such as visible stand ceilings, visible rear sides of the stand walls or advertising media, logos, etc. which are higher than the boundary walls of the exhibitor’s own stand, etc. the details as mentioned in the Technical Guidelines, 4. Stand construction regulations are binding.

Two-storey structures are permissible in some hall levels.

What stands require a construction permit?

The following stands require a construction permit:

- all stands with a surface area larger than 100 m²

- all stands with a building height above 4.00 m

- all stands with special constructions

Furthermore, all other stand constructions, mobile stands, constructions in the outdoor area, temporary structures, two-storey stands and special constructions require a permit and an on-site approval.

The conditions for the above-mentioned stands can be found in the Technical Guidelines.

The factsheet inspection of constructions requiring approval as well as the factsheets on exhibits are available for download on the ACHEMA website.  Information on the charges for statics and for the fire protection is indicated.

The stand plan for approval and all necessary documents can be uploaded in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal, under Services Around Your Stand.

Where do I get my stand plan?

The main exhibitor and if applicable sub-accounts that have been created can download the stand plan in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal, under MyDocuments, after the stand confirmation has been received.

Where do I submit my stand plan for approval?

You or your stand constructor/agency (by means of a sub-account) can upload the stand plan as well as all necessary documents for approval on the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal, under Services Around Your Stand.

The factsheet inspection for constructions requiring approval as well as the factsheets for exhibits are available for download on the ACHEMA website. Information on the charges for statics and for the fire protection is indicated.

What do the supporting columns in the halls look like?

The supporting columns in the halls are shown on your stand plan (see the key to the respective plan). They are clad with white laminated chipboard up to a height of 3.00 m (exceptions: Hall 4.0 - cladding is 7.00 m high, Halls 3, 5.0, 11.0 and 12 - no cladding). The cladding must not be damaged or subjected to loads. The exact dimensions are indicated on your stand plan - they refer to the column cladding.

Are suspensions possible?

Suspensions are possible in most halls (exceptions: Galleria and foyers). All suspensions are subject to approval. The hanging can only be carried out by Messe Frankfurts' contractors and has to be ordered through DECHEMA. Detailed information can be found in the Technical Guidelines, 4.7.5 Suspension points, chain hoists, installation of trusses, fasteners and in the factsheet suspensions from hall ceilings.

Are stand partitions already in place?

Stand partitions will not be in place. We offer full service stand construction via the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal, under Shop, Stand Construction Configurator. In case you opt for individual stand construction, our partners for stand construction will be pleased to assist you. It is also possible to construct your own stand.

How can I order stand construction?

We offer full service stand construction via the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal → Shop → Stand Construction Configurator.

A broad range of system stands is available in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal → Shop → Stand Construction Configurator.

Click on “Start Configuration Now” and you are guided through the process. Graphics, furniture and media equipment and much more can be selected as soon as you have configurated a system stand.

You can configurate various system stands. An order has to be submitted and finalized via the shopping basket.

After receipt of your order, our service partner will send you a stand sketch by e-mail.

In case you opt for individual stand construction, our partners for stand construction will be pleased to assist you. It is also possible to construct your own stand.

Technical Guidelines

The aim of the Technical Guidelines is to ensure that the event proceeds smoothly, to enable exhibitors to present their exhibits to best advantage and thus to attract visitors and interested parties appropriately.

Technical Services

When can I order technical services?

The ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal for ordering technical services is available.

As soon as you have received the stand confirmation, the shop is accessible to you.

How can the stand constructor order services?

Exhibitors can create a sub-account for a stand constructor/agency on the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal, under "Your profile". The registered company will receive an e-mail with the online User-ID and the link to the Exhibitor Portal.
"Stand rental and charges" are not visible. The sub-account holder may place orders on the exhibitors’ as well as their own account.

Can a co-exhibitor order technical services?

Co-exhibitors cannot order any technical services. These services can only be ordered by the exhibitor; exception: if the exhibitor has created a sub-account for a co-exhibitor in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal.

Where do I find electrical, water and compressed air connections?

You will find electrical, water and compressed air connections on your stand plan. Your stand plan can be downloaded in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal, under my documents, after you have received the stand confirmation. The connections can be ordered in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal, under Shop. An installation plan can be uploaded during the order process.

How can I upload an installation plan?

You can upload an installation plan during the order process.

For the upload of an installation plan afterwards, please log-in the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal, see shop/services and click on the shopping basket. Please upload the plan via the button upload installation plan.

How can I upload a graphic file?

You can upload the graphic file during the order process.
Unfortunately, a graphic file cannot be uploaded afterwards. In this case, please send your graphic file by e-mail to the service partner or via FTP transfer.

How can I see what I ordered for the last ACHEMA and what the status of my orders for this ACHEMA 2024 is?

You will find the current status of your orders and your orders for ACHEMA 2022 on the ACHEMA Exhibitor Portal under View my account.
For ACHEMA 2022 you will not see any orders placed with external service partners.
For sub-account holders "stand rental and charges" are not visible.

Is free WI-Fi available at the exhibition grounds?

Yes, suitable for checking e-mails or similar.

Visitor Flat-Rate

What is the visitor flat-rate?

Each exhibitor pays an obligatory sum for access to an optional number of day tickets for guests calculated as a graduated flat-rate based on the size of the stand. For further details please see item 13. "Visitor Acquisition" of the General Conditions of Participation.
